The Rowville Knights proudly welcomes Evan Kavanagh to the coaching team for 2022! Evan will be jointly coaching the Under 11s with Dale White.

Evan comes into the role having been an assistant coach at the Knights and has a great passion for the game. As a player, Evan played juniors at the Glen Waverley Hawks and East Burwood as well as TAC Cup for the Central Dragons and Oakleigh Chargers. In senior footy Evan represented Salesian Old Collegians and Mitcham.

Upon his appointment Evan’s message to players and the Knights community is ‘I’m really looking forward to my first year as coach and continuing to foster the players’ learning and development for footy while having fun at the same time! I’m also excited about introducing some new football philosophies, drills and skills alongside Dale and Steve as our team matures and restrictions to some rules change.’ 

The Rowville Knights Community Football Club also wishes to acknowledge the great work done by Theo Zaharopoulos as the previous coach of Evan’s and Dale’s team. We wish Evan, Dale and the Under 11s the very best for season 2022!
