Our mission is to be a leading junior football club, that focuses on developing boys and girls as footballers and people.
Our teams play in the Eastern Football Netball League (EFNL) which is one of Victoria’s strongest competitions. An advantage of playing junior football at the Knights is that we can support players of all abilities into senior pathways, be they at the elite or social levels.
The Knights has been the starting place of many great careers. AFL players to have started their careers at the Knights include Jonathan Patton (GWS/Haw), Paul Seedsman (Coll/Adel), David Mirra (Haw), Andrew Carrazzo (Carl) and Josh Dyson (Bris).
The Rowville Knights invests in equipment and facilities.
Recent investments have included the installation of full ground, match grade lighting and dedicated girls changerooms at Liberty Avenue Reserve.
The Rowville Knights is one of the few junior football clubs that hires a professional medic to support players and volunteer trainers. The medics are trained in concussion assessment.
In addition to all players being required to wear mouth guards, non-competitive teams (Under 8 to Under 10) must also wear helmets during matches.
The Rowville Knights is also proud to support community mental health initiatives.
